SPRING 2027
STUDENT PLAYWRIGHT & DIRECTORS PROJECT
ACTING & PRODUCTION CLASS

This spring, our Acting & Production class will present four original one-act plays written and directed by four specially selected Performance Supply Company students.
These student artists will receive a unique mentorship experience as they develop their scripts, cast their productions, rehearse their actors, and learn the art of directing under the guidance of Ms. Jodie. Throughout the semester, they will receive instruction and feedback in playwriting, directing, staging, and production as they bring their original stories from page to stage.
Every additional student enrolled in the class will perform in all four productions while also gaining hands-on experience in backstage theatre, including props, costumes, scene changes, and other production responsibilities.
While the four student directors will lead their individual productions, Ms. Jodie will continue teaching acting techniques to the entire class and will mentor each director throughout the rehearsal process, ensuring every student receives the same high-quality theatre education and production experience that defines every Performance Supply Company show.
The semester will culminate in a fully staged public performance at Camp Shiloh, complete with Performance Supply Company's professional pipe-and-drape theatre, theatrical lighting, sound system, props, and costumes.
